Hi! I’m Ashlyn Aviles, a paralegal who proudly graduated in 2025 after taking a leap and making a career change from healthcare into a field I truly love. Before stepping into the legal world, I worked in insurance authorizations, where I gained valuable leadership experience and built a strong foundation in organization, communication, and teamwork.

SJPA has been such a positive part of my journey so far. I’ve been incredibly grateful for how warm and welcoming the community has been. It’s become such a great resource for networking, growing professionally, and building meaningful connections along the way. I am excited to get involved with SJPA as the NFPA Primary Representative and support new paralegals as part of the Professional Development committee.

Outside of work, I’m all about enjoying life. I love traveling, going to concerts, working out, self care, and trying new experiences whenever I can. I’m a proud aunt, have two amazing sisters, and best friend who I consider family. The beach holds a special place in my heart and is my favorite place to recharge.
